A little about me and my company:

Hello, my name is Larry Katz and I ran a successful furniture business for 27 years prior to opening our own Puroclean franchise. This time around, my wife Karen and I decided our next business would center on helping others in need. Unfortunately, from time to time our customers find themselves in the middle of a devastating crises caused by water, fire, smoke or mold damage. We opened our Puroclean business in February of 2008.

We enjoy helping people with their emergencies, and challenges. I simply find it extremely satisfying to help other people. Another aspect I enjoy, is putting together a team of trained technicians who have the same business ethics, and professional etiquette. It is extremely important that our technicians treat each and every client with upmost professionalism, and satisfy their needs during stressful situations.

Puroclean is part of a 250 franchise network. We have all the latest equipment and methods to be more efficient, and more cost effective. We also use a special technique called "Top Down Drying", which reduces the expense to the client. This gives us the opportunity to salvage carpets and pads, which in return reduces the costs to the client. Sometimes we are able to dry the wall through the drywall, which reduces the amount of drywall to be taken out. Another aspect to our business is mold remediation. We remove the affected area, clean, and treat the mold. We can remove smoke, and the smoke odor from affected homes.
