A little about me and my company:
I have been in the tractor and earthwork business for twenty years now. Being raised on a farm, I have always been around equipment all my life. I really never intended to go into the tractor business.
One day I had to rent a tractor to do some work on a piece of property. Working with the tractor gave me so much pleasure and great satisfaction that I went out and bought one! Then I had to buy a dump truck and trailer to move the tractor around. To "play" with my new toys, I did work for people to help them out. Soon, this tractor play turned into a side business, which was never my intension in the beginning. I ended up owning six tractors (some of which are pictured on my next web page) and had two employees to help out.
After I retired from my "real" job as a crime scene investigator for the Ventura Sheriffs Department, I became a one man earthwork business.
I love my work. I'm always doing something different for each job and enjoy driving the variety of tractors as each job requires. I like being on time and do a good job for a fair price. Nearly all of my customers are from word of mouth.
Generally I will travel up to a 100 mile radius from my home base of Somis, so that covers quite a vast area.
My Specialties:
- Digging foundation footings
- Trench for plumbing electrical
- Finish Grading
- Driveway and Yard Removals
- Horse Arena Grading
Thanks,
Reid
