A little about me and my company:
Hello, I'm Ivars and I have been in the wood flooring business since 1987. In the beginning, I started working with a friend who was in the installation business. After realizing that I really enjoyed installing wooden flooring, I decided to open my own company.
As time passed, I noticed that I was quite often asked if I did repairs to damaged wooden floors. Because it seemed like there wasn't anyone else in our area specializing in repairs, I decided to develop my abilities in repairs as well. Since I am a perfectionist and believe in doing the job right the first time, the challenge of making the repairs as seamless as humanly possible became my standard of excellence. I am a one man operation, so I carefully do all the work myself.
The successful installation of wooden floors and the repairing of damaged flooring takes not only patience and the knowledge one accumulates over the years, it also greatly depends upon the proper preparation Because of the fact that I do so many repairs, I have learned just how important the proper procedures are in the prep stage, so to avoid possible problems in the future. With proper prepping and care in installation, I am able to control the outcome of the job
When I install baseboards, I fill all nail holes and joints before I prime and paint to preserve the integrity of my quality work.
I take great pride in my craftsmanship.
