A little about me and my company:
Hi, my name is Rich and I have been associated with the electrical business since 1980. I am certified for both residential and commercial applications.
I started off in the electrical field as a junior in high school in a work program where I was out of school at 12 noon each day to begin my career. I then worked for my girlfriend's father for two years while in high school. First I was assigned to the warehouse where I learned how to be a "grunt"....pulling parts, delivering them along with the blue print plans requested by our work force. After a few months of that, I was then introduced to the "hands on" work, which began my great interest and love for the electrical field.
Since that introduction, I have worked in a variety of branches of the electrical industry including design, installation, sales, and engineering. I have returned to the design and installation of both residential and commercial applications with the establishment of my own business, Orion Electrical Services, Inc.
I suppose what I enjoy most in my work is the technical challenges which arise along with the design aspects. I get a great satisfaction with completing a high quality job with customer service in mind.
